Snorkel STAR II

The STAR II snorkel from Aquaspeed is a revolutionary dry snorkel which is packed with some fantastic features such as the ULTRA DRY system that repels splash water thanks to a small chamber in the upper valve. Thanks to a floating element inside, it allows only air to reach the diver’s mouth. As soon as the upper valve is submerged in water, the floater blocks access to the main chamber of the snorkel, thus preventing any water from finding its way to the mouthpiece.

If any drops of water do leak in, they collect inside the purge chamber, at the bottom of the snorkel. From there they either leak out of the one-way exhaust valve, or can be blown out though that valve with minimal effort on the part of the diver. STAR II’s main chamber features a large bore tube designed for easy breathing. Its flexible and comfortable mouthpiece is made of high quality silicone, which is not only soft and comfortable, thus allowing for prolonged use, but also durable, thanks to specially reinforced structure.

The corrugated, flexible yet firm PVC middle section reduces water drag and keeps the mouth piece in place, even after the diver removes it from the mouth. A built-in whistle allows the diver to signal for help in case of danger.
